Presenter - Displays

The fourth column of the Presenter module show and allows control of the active displays. The top section contains a number of buttons which affect all displays.

Black - fade to black (right click to change transition effect)
Clear - fade to no text (right click to change transition effect)
Logo - fade to logo image (right click to change transition effect or set logo filename)
On/Off - toggle all displays on or off
Freeze - toggle all displays freeze status (when frozen a display will not change)

In addition there are 2 special control buttons

Alert - allows an alert text to be displayed on all displays. When clicked you will be prompted for the text and duration
New Projector - starts a new projector on the local machine

Each projector can also be individually controlled via the small icons that surround it

- Display is on - click to switch off (immediately goes black)
- Display is off - click to switch on
- Display is not frozen - click to freeze/lock
- Display is frozen - click to unfreeze
- Click to change display message filtering

- set the selected color as the display background
- set the selected image as the display background

Display Message Filtering

You can filter the types of message that are sent to the displays using the message filtering

this can allow displays to be configured for different purposes, for example you might have a main projection screen showing everything plus an overlay for video recording showing only text on a black screen.
